With two doctorates in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (a PhD & clinical DMT), two master’s degrees (a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Master of Orthopedic Manual Therapy) in addition to her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, Dr. Dubrow’s diagnostic skills are matchless.

Dr. Dubrow spends 1 ½ hours with you for the initial appointment.  After taking an extensive history, she performs a thorough evaluation which integrates observation of static and movement patterns, pain provocation tests, active, passive, and resisted joint tests, distinctive joint mobility tests, specific ligament tests if appropriate, specified neurologic testing, and testing for functionality. She correlates the information, provides physical therapy/manual therapy diagnosis, and develops a comprehensive treatment plan.

Your visits are one-on-one sessions with Dr. Dubrow.  Dr. Dubrow does not employ non-licensed personnel, aides or others to provide treatment. The care you receive is expert care.

If you seek exercise training to achieve improved sport performance, achieve your personal goals such as increasing endurance and strength, or other aspirations, Dr. Dubrow is certified in and offers Scientific Therapeutic Exercise Progression©/ Medical Exercise Therapy©. You receive an exercise program specifically designed for you and your objectives.

STEP©, exercises are "dosed" to attain your specified need. Whether you have a cartilage, ligament, or bone injury, weakness or tear in a particular muscle in a particular range of motion, or any combination of those, the exercises are prescribed to resolve the underlying problem and return you to your activities and/or sport. There are no cookie cutter approaches. Home exercises are also designed for your specific problem and for your lifestyle.

A procedure pushing ions of a medication directly into the area of injury through the use of DC current. (No needles!) Medications used include pharmacy-grade & acquired acetic acid, dexamethasone, and ketoprofen. All are anti-inflammatories that decrease inflammation and scar tissue at the specific problem site and do not traverse into the bloodstream.
